Help BMX riders! Info on bike needed

A buddy of mine was just given a BMX bike, it's a Schwinn "Joey Garcia" Signiture bike with a bunch of after market parts on it. he nor I know anything about this bike, could someone fill us in? Whats it worth? how's it compare to something like a DK Dayton BMX bike? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I stopped biking about three years ago, but it looks like it's a dirt jumping bike from the first picture. I wouldn't jump with it or use it at all if it's been signed by him, if it's just like the Mirra 540 air and has his signature on every bike just go out and have fun on it...

I believe they are just like a Mirra....
They aren't worth a whole lot..prolly $175??

It is a nice bike but not compared to a DK, standard, or any of the nicer bikes

I have that same bike......They stopped making them in 2001, when schwinn was bought out, and turned into a crap company. I paid $600.00 for mine Brand new in 2002. They originally sold for around $800.00+ dollars. They are one of the best BMX dirt /street thrasher bikes around. The Signature is not worth anything since it is only a sticker, but they're still a killer bike.

Your bike looks fairly stock...but they came decked out from the factory, because in stock form it was the same exact bike Joey Garcia rode.
Aftermarket parts:
front chain sprocket
rear brake lever
pedals
seat
front rim
added stickers.

not a bad bike, it does seem pretty stock from the pics. im guessing its worth around 300-400 bucks because it seems like its in good shape. i had a schwinn as my first bike and it was a tank..heavy but strong.
now i ride a standard trls250 with over a grand in parts and its like going from a chevette to a caddy

u could get like 100 to 150 if you are lucky. If I were you i would throw on a pair of Dk pipe bombs on one side and go ride some street. IF your going to get any parts for it go to www.danscomp.com best prices for parts.

Well i have a specialized vegas and they ur bike is just as good as mine....I also have a trek which is a work in progress..You got a great bike there....Looks to be in great condition...
