Trx 450 Vs. Crf 450

Are these the same motors? If not what is best one? I'm looking to build a bike because I've rode the new trx450r and i dont like it, it to me just dont feel right dont know why like the power but if you were to ask me the ergonomics of this bike suck. So im gonna build a custom 450 with lonestar or lrd frame i'm gonna take all the parts off my 416 cuz that is no longer competetive. so basically all i need is the frame and powertrain so which motor? Also if i go with the CRF450 is there anything i need to do to the dirt bike motor to have work for the quad or is it bolt in and hold on? would like to hear you responses and thoughts!!

Def crf450 It just is the better motor of the two it has titanium valves higher compression and revs faster.The only things I did was get the hinson clutch basket and pressure plate to add strength to the clutch since that motor is meant for a 1 tire not 2 also I would get the dream waterpump cover and a oversized radiator.to keep things cool and flowin. Good luck with your project

crf450 is a better engine but will cost alot more $$$ than if you just bought a trx450 & made its ergonomics better to suit you...stock isnt supposed to be perfect. especially for racing... have you ridden a yfz? you may like its ergonoimcs better

I might like to buy your 416 if you are getting rid of it. Let me know.:D
