I tryed getting my stock axle lock-nut off ... no luck ...

I did a search on here but didn't find what I was looking for ...

Do I loosen the nut closest to the brake hub first? ... or the one father away? ...

If facing back of the quad push down right?
Any trick to getting this damn thing off?

you have it right, it is just a b!tch to get started, try spraying a little penetrating oil on the threads and the 2 nuts, let it set and use a big pipe wrench, maybe a cheater bar if you have to

They are reverse threads also, so make sure you are going the right way. You will defiantly need a big pipe wrench!

and it might not slide off right away after u take the ring off, sometimes it still gets stuck so use a file to file down around where the ring was, if that dont work persuade it with a hammer. if not a bigger hammer
