I'm looking for a new exhaust system. Can you hear a change with an upgraded system, even though its a 4 stroke?

Also what are some good brands of exhaust for the 400 ex?

Sparks,DMC,WB,PC,and Yoshi they r all good brands.

youll both hear and feel a change from an aftermarket pipe. i like hmf.;)

i hear sparks,lrd,hmf,yoshi all top names along with white brother(to many people have them but still good)PC,all that is good....mabe wanna try the esr pipes if they make one of the 400:confused:

I am just installing the new 400EX system, and it is looking real good. The power gain is over 5hp peak power, and this is with the quiet core in (90dB or less)!

As the others have said, there are several good exhaust systems on the market, a lot depends on what type of power curve you want and simply which you like the look and sound of best.

In the full systems I like: LRD, HMF, and Sparks.

In the slip-ons I like: TC, White Brothers E-Series.

For a stock or lightly modified motor, my favorite exhaust is the TC slip-on. For a highly modified motor, I like the LRD full system.

i like yoshi,hmf,then lsr
for slip ons it goes to wb then hmf
i here sparks is good...but depends on what riding you do and where you want power the most
