I ran across something while reading my new issue of American Motorcyclist (AMA) that you should know about. There is a bill currently referred to the House Transportation Committee that would "make it illegal for anyone under the age of 16 to operate an off highway motorcycle or atv under House Bill 155, authorized by state rep Mary Lou Marzian (d-Louisville). The bill would also require riders of all ages to wear helmets at all times."
When I was younger, I rode all summer long and it kept me outdoors and out of trouble. I know that there are alot of people from Kentucky on these boards, so I figured I'd give a heads up.
