I dont think many would be, because the tracks are groomed.

Jeremiah Jones and Doug Gust will be running tireballs from what I heard this weekend. The tireballs are an awesome product by a great group of guys. I expect to see more Pro GNC racers running tireballs in the near future.

Wouldn't this give them an advantage for traction, being able to run 0 air pressure?

Tire balls allow you to run a tire when flat. I would think if the championship is on the line, you would run equipment to prevent from losing.

I don't think the proper way to word it is "run a tire flat" ... the tire has like 4psi but it is in each of 13-14 mini tubes that are circularly placed in the tire.

The tire itself has no pressure though the "balls" do.

A traction advantage lies in the very progressive nature of the pressure. If you have a tire with the TireBalls installed, push down on it... notice how it is progressive ... gotta help traction that way.

They are a great idea and I was watching them being installed at a gncc race. If you puncture one on a rock, the others still hold air.
He was very busy, so i didnt get a chance to talk to him.
I had never even thought about traction being better. Good point.:)

tire balls also ride smoother than regular wheel/tire combos
