1983 kdx 125

One of my friends has a 1983 kdx 125 2 stroke that he wants to get rid of. It's an enduro with a headlight, but is very light. It's been sitting at his dad's house forever, but seems to be in mint condition considering how old it is. He said he got it running, but the throttle stuck wide open and he gave up ater that, that was like 2 months ago. The plastics are in great condition, has good compresion, decent tires, and the clutch still has some life left. He said he will sell it to me cheap, but IDK that I want a project bike?? Has anyone heard of these bikes, do you think it would be worth a couple hundred bucks?

I've got a 1978 KE125 that belongs to a friend of mine.... its a basket case. Unfortunately, I can't even buy rings for the thing! The KDX may be a different story.

If the bike is in anywhere decent shape id go for it. I wouldnt put a bunch of money into it. But it would be a fun cruiser. Now the old KE series were crapola. I had a ke 100 it was a real lemmon! have fun.
