Where can I get a longer bolt for the oil filter cover? The threads seem to be stripped.

Take the cover off and install a "heli-coil", there's probably not enough "meat" or clearance to go deeper.

We just did the exact same fix (heli coil). It really doesn't take that long. I don't think a longer bolt would help the hole is not a thru hole so you would just be hitting the back side.

Just get it heliocoiled quick doesnt take any more than 10 minutes.

its even quiker than finding longer bolt ,same size, thread count, etc. not to mention the recoil if it doesn't work
