I just bought a Curtis Sparks X4 full system exhaust and now I'm finding out that the X6 is the better pipe for the Mod engine. Mine will be pretty modified when I finish the rebuild, so is the difference between the X4 and X6 just the muffler, or are the header pipes different too? I still have my Eseries slipon, would it be better to use that with the x4 header or just use the curtis sparks muffler?

I called Curtis Sparks and they told me the head pipes are different. The x6 has a larger head pipe that allows free'r flowing exhaust. Aaaahhh, I just bought this stupid pipe too. They said the cans are almost exactly the same, so now with my new engine build up they recommend selling the x4 exhaust and getting an x6!
Anyone want to buy a new x4 full system exhaust for $400?
This is why you should always do as much research as possible before buying.

hey now, that x-4 isn't a bad pipe. my friend jus put one on his 406. i know that the x-4 opened my friends bike up more than the x-6 woke my 406 up. however, i don't know how they will compare on a 440.

sorry, i prefer to keep my x-6 for future mods. the 406 isn't enough so it will be getting a few updates here shortly that may compliment the x-6. also, i have the stainless steel. i prefer this over the ceramic.
