i am selling my laeger's protrax crf it has a narrow frame,+4 t pin front end,cr500 rear link,pep shocks,lone star axle and carrier, rpm front hubs with tapered bearings,and white fullbore fenders. the frame was powdercoated last year i built the quad for the 02 season and only raced it that one year.i raced it twice last year. the frame has never been cracked. this quad is no joke.i would like to get 14000 for it i have a spare engine also that i am trying to sell but i will throw it in for another 1500 if you buy the quad or i will throw in the whole dirt bike that is like brand new for 2500 more.

i'll take 12500 for my quad or if someone wants to trade a trx450 and some cash i would consider that too. i just want to get a more trail freindly quad because i have a hard time wanting to take my quad, that i spent 20000 on,into the woods and smacking it around on the rocks.

the frame is all beat up, everything looks hacked up and everything, it looks like someone went trail riding with a 20-25,000 dollar leager protrax crf450.

It only took two races to do that? What do you race on, sandpaper? :eek2:
The axle looks kinda bent, too...Post the rest gibson.
Can we see the Circles above the shock mounts that is Laegers trademark?
That might solve a lot of worries.
chef if you read the details he actually states he raced it an entire season +2 races

wow you have got some eyes on you. i just put that axle in new and have only 4 ice races on it when i took the pics.good job what do you ride

LMC - sorry for busting on you.
it looks alot alot alot alot better in person, i saw it at the first Southwick Neatvmx race.
it is well worth the money, it look's wicked sick, and 10000000 times better in person.

its a good looking bike and im sure it performs well but you probably arent making friends or helping to ensure a sell by ripping people apart for their comments and or their bikes. Just thought i would let you know, because i wouldnt buy a bike off of someone with your character.

is this a real laeger frame built for a 450f or a conversion... appears to me its not one of the 6 REAL laeger 450f frames...
the top motor mount on the clutchside doesn't look like marks stk motor mount... thats why i'm wondering... urs goes horizontal... the other one is verticle... heres a pic of a laeger450f frame...

Ok for those of you guys trying to bust on his balls here's the deal on the bike. I asked him on RRiders.com and this is what he told me....
"the frame is a laeger's made for a 350x three wheeler engine. it is an inch taller on top and an inch lower where the engine goes so the crf fit into it not like the 250r frames. when I sent it to my welder with my motor mounts he added a few gussets and that plate was on it when I got it back.I wasn't about to grind it off and risk weakening the frame rails so I left it there.my friend is selling the 03 laeger's crf quad and they both ride the exactly same.it hasn't cracked at all and has been a real good quad to me"
That's the e-mail he sent me.
So technically, yes, it IS a Laeger bike, and it IS a CRF engine, therefore making it a Laeger CRF.
I persoanlly think $14K is a bit steep for this, since Wimmer's Walsh bike is up for $14K OBO at all the nationals....
But can any of you look us in the eyes and tell us you wouldn't ride this guys quad over all your EX's? I think not... so just let the man try and sell his quad....

i would pay no more than 6500-7 for that, its basically a conversion quad trick but not worth 14k

i have seen this machine ...its a mint quad ...if you don't wanna buy this guys quad skip to the next post ....theres no reason for this . Hes just trying to sell his quad ...

Most of all you guys are all being a bunch of asses , I have ridden this bike and race the pro class , This bike works great and is well worth what he wants to get, so stop busting balls and think about this when you try to sell your pride and joy and have a bunch of jealous people talking crap that cant even afford a laegers protrax!

My 250r i have now is a FULL walsh one,lt elka,and fullbore, and stuff.
BUT that aint no match for a F'ing LEAGER PRTRAX CRF450!.
so screw all you guys who are busting this guys balls.
Protraxcrf450 - get those pics of the 450r? Ya intersted in a trade on it for your leager crf450?

i am saying when i posted that stuff before i didnt mean it, i might have meant it at the time, BUT have you even seen this bike have you in real life? NO you haven't, so STFU.
