Hello everybody,

I have Leagers extend a-arms, ohlins front shocks, ohlins rear shock, rpm dominator rear axle...

other then bumpers, and like handle bars, what can go over to the 450r from a 250r/400ex? also, i have seen 400ex's with 450r shocks, so why cant the 400ex shocks go on the 450r?

The shocks can go but there not going to work properly. The people putting the 450R shocks on the 400ex are making modifications to make them fit.

Try and find out ? shouldnt take long to remove a shock or even the A-arms to test it.

A arms are not even close.
You can get the axle to work if:
1) it was set up for a dual row carrier.
2) you have a 250R collar (its longer)
3) If you are willing have quicker sprocket wear. They dont; line up perfectly, but sprockets are chaaper than axles. I mad a spacer plate, to even them out, but I dodn't trust it.
I am not sure about the shocks. I bet you coudl call you Ohlins dist. and have them revalved.

So far I have used the swingarm, axel, rear break rotor & caliper, front shocks, gas cap, stearing stem, handle bars, foot pegs, front bumper and front & rear break lines all from my 400EX.

Although some parts don't bolt right up and need a little work.

To help line up the chain I cut the teeth off of a old sprocket and welded it to a new one. Raced it three time and so far no problems.

The 400EX axle will work if you press the sprocket hub off, and press the sprocket hub off of the stock TRX450R axle onto the 400EX axle. Then there won't be any chain alignment issues.:)

Why would you want to use the 400EX rear brake rotor and caliper instead of the stock TRX450R pieces? The 450 rotor is smaller diameter for improved ground clearance, and the caliper is much beefier, less flexing when you have steel braided lines so you have better brake feel.

You are right the stock 450R is much nicer then the stock 400ex. I just didn't want to spend and more money, not yet anyway...
