when i turn my handlebars i hear a loud click. so i listened more and its coming from the bottom of the steering stem. i think it could be the bearings. but everytime i turn it clicks. what could it be

lugs are tight, ball joints are tight, etc?

tie-rod ends might be a little lose...

or if it is from the steering stem it is most likley the bearings...

i just have one more question i really wanna go ride this weekend but i cant get bearing till next week would it be ok to ride

i think it should be ok.....dont rely(sp) on my answer though...as longas you aren't riding all out it should be ok

Yeah, if the bearing fails the stem wont come flying out, but I think this is all on your judgment of the situation. I would pay close attention to any "new" vibrations.
