400 ex plastics on 300 ex?

Hey guys, how hard would it be to put 400 ex plastics on a 300 ex? or 250 x plastics on a 400 ex?thx for the help.

$00 frames are too wide for 300 plastic. I have seen a 300ex with 400 plastic on ebay and it looked ok.
