pimpen a 250x

I got a stock 91 250x. I want to know if I should put some money into it and make it real cool, or just save up for a new wheeler. What would you guys do?:confused:

Save money.

Look at it this way. Let's say your quad is worth $1000 dollars. If you put $1500 into the engine, and $1500 into suspension, it will rival a stock 400EX. However, you can't get much better or faster after that, and you have $3000 into it.

Or, you can sell your 250X for $1000, add another $2000, and with that $3000 you can buy a 400EX and you CAN make it faster after that.

anywho, i say save your money for a 400ex...i regret spendin all the money on a damn 250x

I say it depends on what you plan to do. If you like to race cc limited classes than keep it, if not the 400ex would be a good way to go. They are getting cheaper and cheaper every day with the new 450r out. I plan on keeping mine because everyone has a 400 and I want to be a little different, and I would say mine keeps up with a stock 400 easily, and if the 400 has a worthless rider, then it is no prob getting around.
