440 Kit???

My 400ex has a pipe,filter,jets,and a timing advance key. I want to put in a wiesco 440 kit. Is it any good? Do I have to change anything else in the motor?

You will probably have to remove the timing advance key. It is recommend for stock only. The Wiseco 440 kit is very good. You will want to have your head decked after to make sure you have the right compression ratio. if you really want to be carefull you could change the connecting rod to a heavy duty one like a carrillo or a hotrod, then put on a heavy duty timing chain. but that's probably over kill.

dont forget the head studs i just put the oversized ones in my head from eastcoast atv as the stock stud are not strong enough to take the added compression
