Honda 426ex motor, port, hotcam stage2....

Well Im getting a CRF450 motor and need some extra money. Here is the deal. I had an engine built for me with ported head not a mild job, but not full race, it had a 11:1 Je piston, stage 2 cam, new valves, clutch, etc.... I blew the rod in the motor, but I still had a spare motor with low hours on it for emergency use. When the rod went, it went through the case, but did not hit the head or anything on top.

So I still need to bore a stock cylinder I have, and bolt the top end on. I will also get a new CRF450 timing chain just to make it better. I can do a 406, 416, or 426 bore and whatever piston you want.

So for $1100 you would get the stage 2 cam with less than 8 hours on it, ported heads with new valves, springs, etc. Will also have a CRF450 timing chain on it, clutch is stock but in great shape still. The piston Im including would be a 11:1 JE Ross, just let me know what you would want. Also can do HD studs for extra cost, you can build it to what you want it

Bump. Either I sell this or a stock 400ex for $700.

Or I could put a stock head and cam on the 426 motor and let it go for $800 with JE 11:1, CRF450 timing chain (both new)

The stock motor is a 2002, it was rode by a kid for awhile and he was kinda a wussy and I think he rolled the quad, got scared and sold it, since then my brother has put low hours on it. If I sell the stocl motor, he gets the 426, if not I sell the 426 for more money.
Oh and I never ran the engine lean, it was always on the rich side (ok, maybe 15 minutes to jet it)

Bump. The first motor will rip, when I had it bored to a 426 with the ported heads, stage 2, Sparks X-6 and Fcr39MM I was passing a stock YFZ450 down the straights and on the uphil we were close, also at the dunes I had no problem pulling on 2 YFZ450 from the 3rd gear dig, 4th gear dig, etc...

Second motor is stock and has never given a problem, its even still on the original clutch and its not slipping, etc... motor is still like new.

I would like to see the stock motor go, because I want my brother to have a ripping motor to keep up a little with my CRF450

$1100 for the 426 plus shipping ($80 roughly)

$800 for the stock motor ($80 roughly).

Putting the first motor together as a 426 with a Wiseco piston and selling it on ebay tomarrow.

I could have the 426 together within 2 weeks. Just need to know what you would want, then just have to order piston, bore the cylinder, install the CRF450 timing chain and I have most the new gaskets sitting here.

Here are some pics. I was not going to include the polished cases, but I decided to now that I have them all polished up and looking good. I still need to dremel a few spots still, but its looking good.

Im going to order a 11:1 Wiseco for a 426 from Micky D in the next few days, so if you want this with a different compression, piston, etc... let me know before I build it. All it needs is the CRF450 timing chain, stock cylinder bored and the hotcam stage 2 installed.

If you want other stuff let me know, but this is what I caould do extra off hand. $140 for HD studs ($40 to ship them, so its really $100), could tap the valve cover and clutch cover to accept a oversized Micky D cooler it reroutes the way the oil goes into the engine, it goes from the cooler to the valve cover and dumps it there instead of right into the nice hot oil pump. If you thin an oil tank will help dont be fooled, the cooler is the way to go. I can also do HD clutch springs for another $20.

If you want to build a roller I have a stock swingarm that had pivot bolt, etc.. ready to bolt up.... $75, also have a titled frame for $300. Also have sparks pipe for $250, and could get ahold of a stock carb that was used 4 hours for $75. Get some a-arms and the stuff you want and you will have a rippin quad that can beat on a stock YFZ or 450r.

Bump. Other motors are going for less, but this motor will be fresh and ready to break in, not getting someones left ober from a season of racing, this bottom end never even saw the race track and was used for a stock bore only, so thats always a plus.
