Round three of the ITP QuadCross series was perfect. The weather was nice and the track was in excellent condition. There were 17 pros signed up and ready to go. Since there were so many they had two heats for gate line up in the main, and I was out there with my camera in hand.

Ricky Nickell took an early lead with the holeshot. He managed to stay up front the entire heat.

Cody Smith rode great on his yamaha taking third place in his heat allowing him to get a good spot on the gate for the main.

David Lyndsay seemed to have some bad luck in his heat. But that didnt stop him from finishing in the top 3 in the main.

The second heat was awesome. Kory Ellis took the holeshot with Darrel Patton, Cory Hintz, and Sage Baker next in line. The riders and results were as follows:

A few corners later Jeremy got past the pack and was in second place.

# 35 Darrel Patton took an impressive lead on the rest of the pack along with Kory Ellis and Jeremy and took 3rd in his heat.

Cory Hintz rode hard on his (back up quad) suzuki and took 6th in heat 2.

The main race was exciting from start to finish. # 21 John Shafe took the holeshot. With Jeremy Schell and Ricky Nickell right behind.

Kory Ellis managed to make his way to first place because of a pile up about half-way through the track consisting of Sage Baker, Jeremy Schell, Mike Machado, and Cody Smith. A few other riders were involed but these four got the worst of it.

# 5 Danny Ragon and # 19 Carmon Cafro managed to avoid the wreck and were in the top of the pack.

Cody Smith and Sage Baker battled back and forth after being hung up in the wreck.

Ricky Nickell rode hard and kept his second place position putting distance between the rest of the pack.

Kory Ellis went on to win the race with Ricky Nickell taking second and David Lyndsay taking third.

Jared Huber took first in both motos in the 91-450 4 stroke novice class. He was riding hard and it sure showed.

#81 was skying the jumps and pleasing the crowd. He finsihed 2nd overall in the +30 novice class

# 85 Keith Bloodworth pulled the holeshot in both motos, winning himself a set of rear tires, but found himself in third after overclearing the first table top.
