My buddy bought a set of TCS shocks for his Z400 and they don't don't fit very well. When it bottoms out, the tie rod hits the top A-arm.

Anyhow, he wants to sell them. They are freshly rebuilt, only a couple of rides and he doesn't ride hard. They're off of a 400ex. Setup is for +2 A-arm, 180lb rider, motocross
They're Triple rate, Rebound and Preload Adjustable

They're not totally for sale yet, we're just wondering what they would be worth to anybody now. He paid too much for them, so he don't want to loose his butt on them.

Is anyone interested? Any offers?
What are they going for?

Something doesnt seem right. The only way the shock could make the tie rod hit the a-arm is if it was too short of a shock. Im pretty sure TCS knows how long the shock should be. Why doesn't he call them and try to get this fixed?

You said a majority of the problem in your post-they are off of a 400ex. While the Z's and 400's are alot alike...they aren't identical. You can't really say they dont fit very well when they aren't even for that bike. My TCS's are sweet.

400ex shocks are shorter then Z400 shocks right by like 1/2 an inch?

if the shocks were put on a quad that they were not meant for don't be surprised if something doesn't work out right.
