In the newest issue of ATV sport, featured article ATV Forcast they talked with Steve Nessel and he was quoted saying " there will be no factory effort this year but possibly involvement in 2005. The race scene and technology is still evolving"-Nessel
The other reason I think that honda picked Farris because of his age and maturity verses others in the sport. They probably extended an offer to Gust, but after you win the championship on a proven Suzuki why accept an offer from Honda on a new, never race proven quad at the time. Besides he had to of had a bug in his ear about the Z450.
