Hey all, I just picked up some new goodies for the 4-hundo and wanted to get some opinions on how I should jet this thing for break-in.
Heres what I got:
2003 400EX
Wiseco 11.2:1 Hi-comp stock bore piston
Hot Cam stage 1
Stock rockers
Stock head-no port work/big valves
Slip on WB E-series running 8 disks and quiet core
K&N Air filter w/ outerwear - no airbox lid
Dynojet jetting, which before the Cam and piston was dead-nuts on.
Other than that, the rest of the powertrain is stock. Now, given these items and an elevation of about 10ft above sea level, what would be a good baseline jetting to put into this thing so as I can ride it for the recommended cam/piston break in periods? I run a 50/50 mix of 110 octane leaded and 94 octane unleaded, if that matters. If anyone can help me out, I'd be glad to buy them a case of the local finest brew if I'm ever out in their neck-o-da-woods. Anyways, Thanks in advance for the assistance.
