anyone know how to get rid of the rev limiter when im in reverse on my 300ex? it really blows sometimes.

I think you have to switch some wires. Call pro-fab or pow roll and they will tell you what needs to be done.

y would u want to do that. i had a 300ex and i never needed anymore power in reverse it will only hurt things if u take it off.

we took it off on my friends raptor with this little kit...it made it go a little faster than 25mph in reverse...it was insane

Take the two wires from the switch (near the rear brake pedal), unhook them, then connect them together.

thanks alot moto93. this rev limiter is just a touch too low. a couple times ive gotten stuck in woods or something and needed a few more rpms. i have never ridden on a track but i think a bass akwards race would be hilarious.

hahaha..i wish my EX had reverse i hate pushing and its embarrasing while your pushing to turn around and people your riding with that have reverse are like turned around and waiting.

race cut fenders...you can then sit down & pull your fet on the tires & it goes nicely in reverse

I bet its not to embarrasing when they are sitting there and you blow past them b/c they can't keep up...:p

No reverse is the only thing I dont like about my 400. I get alot of comments from the Z/KFX 400 guys everytime I gotta push it. But it aint that big a deal. The feet on the front tires does work but only on flat, hard ground. Most of the trails by me are kind of half pipe shaped so I just pull up on the lip then let it roll back and repeat till Im turned, or if room allows I gas it and rip it around. :devil:
