Common quetsion: Jetting on 300ex help

on my 300ex i don't know what to jet it to and i don't want to buy a ton of jets!!!!

on my 2002 300ex i have a e-series pro-meg slip on, a k&N filter. i am now deciding to change to no airbox mods (lid back on). at or around sealevel, what should i run???

I went up two sizes on the main jet, lowered the needle clip one slot (raising the needle), and went a half a turn out more on the idle mixture screw when I did the same mods as you. This was with the air box lid on, but with six 1-inch univents in the air box lids. My runs perfect now.

2000 300EX, pipe, K&N, no other mods, running a 125 main jet, stockneedle setting, stock pilot, in Ohio.

It's running fine so far. Friends 300, pipe, filter, ran a 128 main. Different machines vary, but that should give you an idea.
