May 23 Tomahawk will be having a Buddy Race. 2 people 1 quad team must consist of at least 1 B or C rider....no 2 A rider teams.

2 hour race....$500 purse! Using MX and Harescramble track.

As stated in original post:

2 people 1 quad...this means the 2 person team must use the same quad

Team must consist of at least 1 "B" or "C" rider....the team cannot be 2 "A" riders....this will give everyone a fair shot at the win.

Any combination:
A and C
B and C
A and B
B and B
C and C

Just not A and A

And Rick and Traci Cecco...we will consider a 3 time womens GNCC champion an "A" rider!

We will look at teams and make fair judgements.....we want this to be a fun event and give everyone a chance at winning......how cool would it be to see a "C" and "C" rider combination pull off an overall!

I will definitely be there for the HS on the 28th. All you fellow Maryland guys should show up, it's always a fun track. If you want to know how rocky or what the trails like they are having a practice this weekend I think. I was thinking of heading up on Saturday, but it depends on what my riding buddies are doing.

Oh Yeah!!!!!! We can't wait...we have been racing at Flying Dutchman for the past two races and we can't wait to get into the woods again. The dutchman is OK but it just isn't like a real XC race. I think that Tomahawk is probably our favorite XC track, it has a little bit of everything. It is more of a riders track.... so those of us with stock 400 motors even have a chance! Later!

Pappy...your going to miss a race in your backyard to go to OH....maybe we need to come up with a youth race at Tomahawk!

We did one last year for youth quads and bikes, but didn't get a very good turnout....we will discuss the possibility again this weekend and I will let you know.

The DirtBoys will be there. I've got 2 quads and 2 bikes going in my trailer. Judging by the people coming into the store this week there should be a good turnout. Budds Creek will be good also the following week.

I might have to just show up for this race because everyone knows that I need the practice

What time is the race, and what is the latest that I can sign up?

I have plenty of work to do at the house before I leave to go race.

Greg- At the NC GNCC my 450r was rated at 98 decibels. I have yet to repack the silencer since new. My YFZ was 102/103 at the first three GNCC'S. The jets are included with the pipe, if you need additional jets, let me know.

Hey Harlen- You don't have time to be racing, you've got race reports to post!

WORK, WORK, WORK

That is all everyone wants me to do, so I decided that I am taking a break and heading for the track tomorrow.

I do have to work at the house in the morning, so I won't be there till 1PM at the earliest. I hope they don't give me a hard time about signing up to race.
