I was considering lowering my height even further for better cornering but if you compress your shocks way down, then the
a-arm travel is decreased therefore giving you a rougher ride correct? I'd appreciate fellow XC guys opinions.
Thanks :)
Elka Engineers told me to set my sag running 22 fronts and 20 rears to 8.5 - 9 inches with myself sitting on the quad..
I had it set to about 7 - 7.5 thinking this would work great but I think i need to quit thinking..:huh
The recommended sag height that elka gave me worked much better but for it to work the best you gotta be on the gas. :macho

There was another thread with a lot of good info about sitting your quad height up.
But Rico is correct with the 8.5 inches

Sorry guys, I'm being dense here. 8.5" is what measurement, where?  A shock measurement or the frame from the ground?
Thanks

frame to ground, at the foot pegs, and at the motor mounts.

Would the 8.5" ride height be the same on a 300ex with rider?
I'm not sure if I EVER had 8.5" of clearance.
Thanks for any help.
