04 250 ex jetting

anyone have any recomendations on jetting for this bike,wifes bike,open air box,fmf pipe,stock jetting right now.thinking about buying the dynojet kit from fmf.there having a big parking lot sale the weekend of the 27th.

We've got about the same mods as you and are running a 110 main and a 42 pilot. Unless you get the kit for next to nothing I'd just buy the jets from Honda.

what moto said. just get the jets from a dealer, jet kits= wasteof money

i have a T-4 with a stock filter and stock airbox (no holes, lid on) and i run a 100 main with the needle clip at the 4th groove from the top. seems to run pretty good, although it may be a touch on the rich side.


unless you live in really high elevation, i would plan on your bike needing right around a 110 main, with the open airbox and all.
