250R Rear Shock on 400EX??

Will a 250R rear shock work on a 400EX? If so, will it bolt right up with no mods? Will the same setup (valving, rider weight) apply to 400EX or will this need to be changed? Thanks in advance!!!!

Thanks guys. There is a Works 250r shock out on Ebay for pretty cheap right now. Oh well....
