416 jetting question.....!!

Alright, I got motorwork done to my bike a few weeks ago. They put in the bore kit, race cam, stainless steel valves,....etc(most of it is in my description). Well, I thought it was running good until saturday when I took it out on the track. I noticed it had a real low bog and was real sluggish through the gears. I am guessing my main is too big. I am running an open air box with a DJ170. I was also thinking about putting the lid back on because the dust is so bad around here that I can see it is getting through my filter and into my carb boot. If I put the lid on what main jet should I run. I was thinking a 155 maybe with it on but not for sure. :confused:

Sounds like your running wayyy too rich. Lean it out a little and see what happens.

the cam and port job will make your low end power more sluggish. however, at high rpms it should open up. also, i would go down on the main. a 155 seems like a good starting place to me. i am not positive with dynojets. i use keihins.
