Gate Fees at local tracks???

So the bummy track here in Medford Oregon jsut raised their gate fees to 20$ (for riders), and races to 25$. This is per person.

So on a race day, one would have to pay 5$ to get in, and then another 25$ to race......:huh

So to race it costs 30$ in a quad class that has 2 opponents.

This is also on very bummy track. Its made for the 125cc dirtbike class so the doubles are tiny, have several close together, and you have to slow down to hit them right or you will be messed up. Not a big track at all, but its the only one in the valley.

If you can handle all that you have to take a ton of quad racism on top of everything.

If i had any money at all, I would build the nicest, biggest track, and make it quad only. Just to piss off all the dirt bike riders that will have to ride at the over priced track.

Yea? Thats cheap. For my dirtbike organization it's 10 bucks a person to get in and $25 a class to race. For other local ones it is 30-40$ a class..

this one is pretty bummy. I can afford to practice once a week at 20$ for a couple hours of riding. im poor, momma didnt help with the 450r. its mine. :(

well at thrill hill its like 10 bux on weekdays all day and 20 on weekends not sure bout entry fees and all that bs

My local track isn't that bad. $7 for the gate, $20 for your first class and $15 for you second, etc... The membership card is a one time $15.

Practice is on Wednesdays and is $20. It's like 4-9 or something.

Not bad, but not too good either. Oh well, ya gots to pay to play!:blah:

at milan in michigan its now $25 for 2 practice days wend, and fri morning and $30 for the race friday nights

at our local mx track its 7 gate fee. like 30 to race. and 15 for another class. But i dont care i get in for free :blah: . and on practice u only usually have to pay the 7 for the gate fee no other charge.

the track dwn the srteet from me is has a free gate fee and a free race fee
