what bar bend?

I am looking to replace my handlebars and am not sure what bend to get. I have a stock stem and like the height of the stock bars, but I don't like the way they sweep back. I like more of a bike feel. or if you know of a web site that shows the different dimensions of bends that would be cool to. thanks

We've got 250R bend bars on both the 300 and 400. I think the dirt bike bend will be too flat and cause you to be slumped at the wheel.. :D Quad bars are a little taller. Do you stand up much? The bike bars would be even worse. In the Dennis Kirk catalog, (I think) they have all the specs. I think dirt bikes are a little wider too, making for a big reach.

I like CR high bend, but it totally depend on you. You will have to choose, try checking out other peoples bars. The only way you will really know is by trying sets. Everyone has different styles, your body style is totaly different then other people so asking people isn't nessecarily(sp) going to help.

You have a very good point and I respect that BUT I only know 3 people with quads and they all run a stock bars. which means I have to buy the bars to try them. so any suggestions that would narrow down the number of bars I have to buy would help more than you know. ;) thanks

Go to your local dealer, tell him you want to buy a set of bars from him. A local dealer I know would let me take brand new bars (purchased of course), mount them lightly to the stem, and return if I didn't like. Just don't mount the calipers etc.

I had CR-Lo bend on my quad because I figured that the 1 1/8" bar adapters were going to give me an extra 1". They were still too low. I'd stick with the CR-Hi bends like everybody is recommending.

exactly. I bought some offa muff adn he did the same thing. They are a little low witht he universal mounting kit and cr high it would be perfect.

I'm thinking about just buying TUSK alum. bars for now. they are cheap enough that if I don't like them then I'm not out much. then when I find the bars I like I will buy something better. but at this point I haven't looked into the highend bars yet.;)
