what are you doing it for? are you detailing your bike, if so, then really tear it apart and do the frame and a arms and everything.

uh, thats what my plan is... im not done yet. i plan on powdercoating it black with yellow a arms:blah

Your still doing the simple stuff. I can take all that stuff off and put it back on in less than a hour. Wait until you get to the front end, motor, oil system, and the trickiest of them all the electrical system. Good luck ;)

I've got a work room in my basement and i've done decided when I tear mine down this winter for the powdercoat,,,I"m takin off the A-arms and the axle and bringin the entire quad to my basement and doin the stip down there,,,it's warmer and I can take my time labeling everything better,,the ole ladies gonna freak when I do it though..ole well,,it's my house..:D

When I was a kid (25 years ago) I parked my KX125 in the middle of my living room on a milk crate and rebuilt the top end, while I watched tv. My mom was not to happy when she came home from work. Oh well it turned out ok, the bike ran great.
