im thinking of polishing the stator side case on my 400. is it alot of work and does it take alot of time. please let me know if you have done so. thanks

Lots of time, then everytime u ride it gets all scuffed up again, and again and again.........

nacsracer27 does really good work I hear...I would have him do mine but I dont feel like worrying about getting my quad dirty & scuffed up all the time.,...chrome also becomes a sickness I hear...you get one thing done & before you know it you want everything chrome to match

its alot of work just on the upkeep of it.And if you havent polished anything before dont make the sidecase your first project.

If you put a couple of layers of clear coat, will it get scuffed up as bad?

Just get nickle or chrome plated!

well, i can polish really well, pull out the mothers and buy a pack of wife-beaters at wally world and your set, i just dont know if i want the upkeep
