I have a 2003 JRD chassis with a 2003 CRF 450 motor and I'm wondering if anyone else is running the same set up? If so what kind of aftermarket pipe do you use? Right now I have a stock CRF 450 headpipe with a homemade silencer, but I'm looking into a aftermarket system. I called JRD and they run a TC Racing system which is made by Supertrapp. I'm trying to explore all my options before buying. I've called Baldwin, Sparks, Yoshimuria, and WhiteBrothers, and HMF, but no one can tell me for sure wether or not their pipe will bolt up to my frame. Any ideas?

i seen a bunch of these at the track the other day and they were all running tc, or like a custom made pipe.

Yes they are using the stock crf head pipe with a tc silencer. The silencer still has to be fitted to the frame. No matter what pipe you buy it will not be a direct bolt on. The TC pipe goes on fairly easily and performs great.

Mine is a stock headpipe with a JRD silencer! They stopped making them for some reason. But it's in pretty rough shape though. About mid way through the season i plan on getting either a TC, or JRD said that they would be building another one that comes with a header too!

Now i have a question for you. Do you have the Adjustable stem? what clamps do you run with it?
