Air Filter Box Mod....?

I tried the search for this, but some of my keywords were too small so it wouldnt search... anywayz

What is done when ppl say they modded their air filter box? Do you just cut a hole in the lid? Remove the lid? How big of a hole? Do you use somthing to cover the hole from rocks/dirt/water? Thanks alot

Lots of different ways. Cut a large hole in the top, Cover it with a outerware, Remove lid altogether and cover with outerware, Install 6-8 small filter plugs, Everyone does a little different. I run a lid from EHS racing. Probably could make your own.

As a matter of fact i just got my outerwear kit today from www.ehsracing.com i've seen a lot of people do it themselves too

Thanks guys... I am probably going to cut my own OEM lid and dress it with a Outerwears Filter... Looks good! Thanks!!!
