To overhaul or not to overhaul... that is the question

Hey everyone, thanks a lot for your help on my last few threads. I've got a new one for ya. I bought an 87' 250x have since put maybe 30hrs on it, and i have no idea when the motor was last ran through. Is it worth the money to overhaul it yet or should I wait? And FYI I just installed my new AC nerfs (awesome!) and bought a Moose Jet Kit. Thanks Again:D

I'd check the compression on it. If you get at least 120lbs, I think it falls under the category of "It ain't broke".
