HMF S/O gasket

I just got my hmf slip-on today and when I tried to put it on the slip-on just did slid on the head pipe without the gasket. is the stock gasket suppose to fit in there? is there any tricks to getting it to fit? Thanks Sick.

Most aftermarket exhausts don't use the gasket between the head pipe and silencer. just tighten the clamp. :)

i have used an exhaust gasket for the slip ons that i have dealt with. otherwise it would leak at the header/silencer connection. the gasket took care of it. i just always assumed you were suppose to since the connection is loose and leaked without it. just telling you it has worked for me. good luck
