Man that track was way to fast for me. Maybe I'm a wimp but I am still herting today.

How did everyone else like the track?

I thought the track was awsome even thogh I did dnf because of a bent tie rod

it was a rough track but the brand new 1 day old ELKA with linkage did its job "thank rico for you right up about the linkage.. it was on the money" got 2 in 16-24C 2 seconds behind 1st only thing i didnt like about the track was not a lot of places to pass and after the first lap i lost most of my front brakes

i raced this one last year , iuta about a 4.5 hr haul for me so i want going back yet but it was definitely the roughest track last year i ran
man i was glad to see that flag last year, i was riding a stock banshee , only mod wa san airfilter and 22 razr rear tires and a front sprocket, it beat me to death!

hay i got 12 out of 22 in the 16-24 c every one in my class had a 400EX,Z400,Kfx400,250R,YFZ450 or a 450R and i was the only one in my class on a stock 300EX and every one beat me to the first turn so i think i did ok but wished i did better.

I thought that the track was great! 10.5 miles of solid woods and a few creek beds! Wonderful!

Did anyone else really understand why the guy was standing by that left hand turn with the yellow flag???? I didnt think that was bad at all?

I wondered the same thing. That was actually one of the faster parts of the track. The 1st lap I slowed down, the rest I hammered it and didn't pay any attention to him

Me too. In fact, the first lap I think I was behind you CJ. I liked the track, but I think they almost put out too many Danger X's.

Glad to hear that! Like a trooper, you hopped back on and did some more laps around the pond. Maybe in a couple of weeks you can see my rides... not sure how soon I'll be racing, I have some work to do on the LT first. :o Take er easy, and try to keep all four wheels on the ground! ;)

How's the blisters doing? What kind of grips are you using? I have Renthal medium compound on my Lt, tears the chit outta my hands. One week last summer I got to ride 3 days that week. I got 3 blisters on my clutch hand, one on top of the other. I pulled my glove off and chewed the 3 layers of skin off. :eek: ummm... good food! Man did the tender skin underneath hurt like hill! :p

That had to be a rough ride on a stock 300ex, you did good.

i have a lot of video from the start of the race, the holeshot, and then a little from that first part of the woods you all went into. also some of people's 1st lap check points. i could send them to someone to upload, but im having problems getting them compressed into a decent size file for download, and still have them be desent quality. if anyone thinks they could help me out, id be glad to send these videos to anyone who wants to host them. i have one clip fromthe start where a yfz takes the holeshot about 25-30 feet ahead of anyone else.
