My friends Polaris 700 twin 4x4 only runs when the choke is 13 on....any less and it dies.It starts and runs fine but when you take the choke off it goes dead.All this atarted after it flipped. Any ideas. Any input is appreciated

Clean the carb out. Probably knocked some some crud loose that is plugging one of the fuel circuits causing it too run lean, requiring the choke.

is gas leaking from any over flow lines?? its running lean obviously so do what the other guy said and also make sure th fuel line is clean.

No fule is overflowing and I cleaned the main jet and idle jet but it still only runs when the choke is on.Any ideas?

Check your needle & seat it could be bad, thats what happend to my utility. Good luck!!

A hard flip can bend the little clip thing that adjusts the float level shut-off needle valve thing. I bet the float level is off? But then I don't know alot about these particular carbs.

I recently had the same problem with one of my quads. It would only run with the choke on and would die when turned the choke off.

I had cleaned my carb once and put it back in and it didn't work. Cleaned it the second time with some brake cleaner, and ran some air through the carb and that did the trick for me.

:devil: :devil: :devil: :devil: :devil: :devil: :devil: might want to check your blinker fluid lol, i agree with everyone else clean it w/carb cleaner and run some air through it too, happens to my ex sometimes too.

check for cracks/tears in the intake boot that connects the carb to engine

got it fixed ya'll it was trash in the pick up,Blew it out and its running like a champ, Thanks for all the help
