ok i have no problem with n e other gear other than 5th...when i get almost wide open 5th gear jus spits and sputters...i mean its when i almost have it wrapped out though...its most probably jetting i know...but i dunno if i'm running to rich to lean...

the best way to know if your rich or lean is to check the spark plug if it's white your lean if it's black your rich. and then you can go from there.

That dosen't sound like your running rich or lean. If you are wide open then it would be your rev limiter kicking in. The rev limiter keeps the motor from reving up so high it blows. If you didn't have the rev limiter the motor would never stop climbing.

well it isn't the rev limiter kicken in...it never has before...and i'll brb with my jet size and mods...i forgot what size jet i was running...yes its been that long since i've riden...

ok...k&n with 6 1" holes in lid...full white brothers r4...that about sums it up...and i'm running a 165 main.

try to run around a 158 keihin mainjet. also, take the carb off and clean the heck out of it. also, drain the old fuel and refill. a new spark plug couldn't hurt either.
