400ex Carb question

Anyone have any recommendation on Pilot Jet Size for a 400EX with a full Big Gun Pipe and a K&N Filter.

It has always had a hard time starting since I put the pipe and Filter on but recently it will not idle and backfires with the stock Pilot.

i run a 42 with the choke removed pump the throttle 3 times fires right up. oh yea mixture screw@ 2 turns out. good luck

42 with just a BG full system & a K&N air filter.

Stock is 38 so a 40 or 42 should work. What main jet are you running and did you change the needle setting?

A few other tidbits of info will be needed... Any other mods, airbox lid, elevation, weather changes...
