i have a little proplem!!!!

:mad: so i went riding today on my 300ex and about a half-hour into the ride i hear this wierd nosie from the swingarm.So i just thought it was my chain or sumthing about a half hour later i get off it and it was rocking back and forth...


bottom line i blew out my rear barings.:mad:

how much will it cost to fix?

is this a common proplem on a 300ex because my friend also blew out his barings about a week ago???

Well, bearings don't cost alot money and it is something you can do yourself!! Should be an inexpensive fix:D

Bearings go for $20 each. Not too hard to do.

they didnt just "blow out". they were bad or going bad for awhile..

yeah preventative maintinence is the best solution on this. Plan to change them every 6 months or something. I also keep a spare carrier with bearings just incase something happens and i cant get bearings right away..........also same with air filters and tires:devil:

Its more common if you ride in a wet, muddy area.

that happened to me today...on my 300...i was stuck on my track..with no tools...but mine wasnt just the bearrings...the whole carrier got stuck and the axel slide out...i had to push it all the way home cuz i couldnt ride it back...but its not that common but it happens
