actually by the time we got back to the truck he had his helmet off and was just sitting around. he is pretty reserved and didnt show much emotion. after discussing what he had done right and a few handshakes that was that.

on the way home i asked him what he would do different if he could re-run that race. he replied that he would make passes happen and not be so polite. his biggest complaint was that he couldnt keep his thumb on the throttle over ruff obstacles

Thats awsome, my dad never got into riding, i supported me, but never rode with me, or took pictures. It would be nice to get him out there with me. You seem like an awsome dad, keep it up. Its the best thing you can do for your son.

I think i did really good even tho I got last. I'm really happy I got the holeshot, I just needed to keep on the gas and teach that other kid I can ride with him.

Before we got in the woods on the 1st lap the red 90 and the white LT80 passed me as soon as we hit the woods. Then i screwed up on the hillclimb and allowed the red LT80 to catch me. From then on it was on and off for 3rd place. I would pass him and then he would pass me back.

My quad did well overall, but iI need to learn to go much faster thru the really ruff ground. Then iI need to be able to keep my thumb on the throttle.

Thanks everyone and I will try much harder next race.

Cody

Have your dad PC the thumb lever with some black wrinkle. Thats what I did for my kids and it really helped;) Keep up the good work, and thank your dad for the cool pics!

I totally agree!!!! To the kids that get out there every weekend and race you all rock...but look out for Cody!

To the parents...You ROCK!!! It's makes me smile when I see post like this. It just goes to show you that there is time to stop and enjoy your kids while you still have them. They grow up way to fast!!

My Dad is getting up there in age( alittle sickly)and I remember my childhood like it was yesterday...man if I could get that back now. Anyway enough of the sappy stuff.

You kids are awesome and deserve a BIG CONGRATS!!!!

Keep kicking butt!
