help with photoshop

i just got photoshop and i was wondering if anyone with aim or aol could help me out alittle with it...i also am going to get a book but i wanna know some basics before i get the book...thank you

Just use the built in help feature. You can search what you are wanting to do...wether it be feathering...or whatever...

can you just tell me how to change the color of plastics on quads?

umm..download irfanview (http://download.com.com/redir?pid=10223761&merid=59333&mfgid=59333&ltype=dl_dlnow&lop=link&edId=3&siteId=4&oId=3120-2192-10223761&ontId=2192&destUrl=%2F3001-2192-10223761.html). It is a very small file..only about 800kbs...You can just use that to change the color. It is the best (besides photoshop) for photo editing and stuff...a very fun program.

EDIT: when you open irfanview...up your phtot and go to image >swap color > just start going through them. edit the rest in photoshop.. To edit a color of something in photoshop use the magic wand and outline the plastic and just connect everything off and change the color that way also.
