You posted this in the 450R section, so guess what pretty much everyone will say. They are both great bikes and you have to decide. I would say sit them and see what one fells better. But if you still want a answer 450R.

I just went through the same questions myself this past week. The main reason I went with the Honda is I have PEP's from my 400 that are being reworked for the 450R. Other than that it was a toss up for me. I've only ridden my 450R for a few minutes so far, but I have ridden 2 YFZ's and honestly they feel very similar. Both rev real fast and handle great. Just try to ride both if you can, or at least sit on both to see which feels better for you. Either one will be awesome and are miles ahead of the choices we had just a couple short years ago.

the yfz is slightly faster, especially with aftermarket parts.
but when i was sitting on them both yesterday, the honda has much better ergos, and the seat is much more comfortable, unless ur racing, i would go with the honda 450
