wen u are in neutral my nighbors rpms go up really high but wen u pull in the clutch they go down to normal wat would cause this

My LT250R does that and when u turn all the way right it revs up real high :eek2:

you cable is tight, give it some more slack at the bars and you wont have that problem anymore....if you dont think this is it, pull in the cable when it is running and you'll hear it rev up

does the idle do it all of the time? or only when you first start it? how about when your in gear w/ the clutch? etc. give some more details

we just switched handle bars and ever since we did it has it only does it in neutral with the clutch out it can be warm and it still does it

Have you tried adjusting your throttle cable? Make sure it's not being pinched or pulled on by anything.

Either the cable doesnt have any slack, or the idle is turned up too high, or the cable needs replaced.
