Wow those are some big parents. My last dog was 120# and I thought he was big. Now we have a golden retriever, shes only about 65-70#, seems like its all hair.

Currently I'm looking to get a silver lab.

So far MOSES is tolerating him, he know's his place however. Moses has been going outside to go potty with him. I don't even have to go anymore. Bentley just follow's Mo out the door to the yard and does what he does..

I think they will be great buddies... Moses is 7..

They are definately good about protection. You cannot have a moment's peace when swimming around Moses. Everytime my boy jump's in the lake Moses takes off and haul's his *** back to shore... funniest damn thing I've ever seen.

Yeah .. your telling me....

He has'nt realized his size yet, he run's up to me and completely knock's me over unless I'm against a wall...

Took the 2 of them for a walk the other morning, 2 lead's on 1 hand, no jerking or running... These dog's aim to please...

I can't wait for the first snow. He was to young play in the snow at the end of the season last year,...

Yeah Hammer, I remember seeing that pic before. Love those dog's too.... We (wifey & I) researched many different big breeds for almos 2 years before we dicided on the newf's... We went to breeder after breedr just to spend time with them as pup's and adult's. I wanted a Cane Corso until my wife found out how much he was to be... Big monster, had his name all ready for him.

Apone.
the breeder who had him say's she kept him because he was the most near perfect speciman she had ever seen. He's 185 lbs and absolutely perfect...

Ahhh love the pup's...

Your pup is still with us right? For some reason I remember that pic with a RIP catpion..

That cat is a 16 yr old MANX.... Has a nasty disposition when backed into a corner... Bentley learned that at about 9 months old... That cat sunk all 10 front claws into that soft nose of his and hung on for what seemed to Bentley I'm sure was a lifetime...

I just committed to purchasing a Newf today. Though I will not even be able to see it til the week of Feb. 5, when it arrives on a plane. So much for 400ex parts, my wife and I are adding to the family, we thought about kids, but my dream dog seemed so much better. I met the breed for the first time when I was 9 and now am 27. With a little work and patience and meeting the right people, dreams can come true. I always worried about the Louisiana climate, but met some other people that have some and have reported zero problems. Just treat them like human and you will have a great pet.:p

Sorry to hear man..

R I P you big sweety..

The time has come I think you know
the Lord is calling so I must go
I love you so much; I wish it wasn't so
I wish I could stay; I don't want to go

You're the best family a dog ever had
so kind and gentle never mean or mad
I'll never forget the day that we met
I was so lucky to become your pet

You opened your door and showed me your heart
I'll never forget you; we'll never part
You loved me and cared for me over the years
you taught me everything and took away my fears

The Lord is calling now I must go
but before I go I want you to know
I know it hurts to lose a friend
but I'll always be with you even to the end

:(
