if you look at the last pic you can see where it barely taps the axle when it bottoms out but that is as low as it will go so now i shouldn't have to worry about anything. it is custom dented now:p

the 04 comes with the fmf. this is the arrow exhaust that is a big performance exhaust over in europe and a little im america too but it comes on the 03 model. it comes with everything you see except thumb throttle, hand guards and tag bars. i have put a ltr alloy coolant pump on it and also put on the radiator guard to protect the radiator but that is about it. i also cut down the exhaust alot. compare my exhaust to this one.

how were the results of cutting it down?

seems to me that the 90 degree bend in the exhaust pipe right in front of the silencer looks like a big spot for hp loss.....might wanna look into a way of having an exhaust thats straighter? oh yea.....nice quad. what holeshots are those?

thats exactly what i am working on now. i am looking into a way of moving the silencer up more for clearance and making the exhaust go straight back without melting my airbox. i am thinking about going straight back and out around the subframe tube.

front holeshots are 19x6x10
rear holeshots are 18x10x8

it did come with razrs originally.
i like the 19 's but have not run the 20 's enough to make a really good comparison but they perform well enough for me.

i haven't had much reliablility problems with it. once when i was practicing i had a ground wire end break and it took me a while to figure out why it wouldn't start but it was a simple thing. some people have had trouble with the starters going out but i haven't. i have a bigger battery to help crank it over faster so that may have something to do with it. other than a few small bugs when i first got it i have not had problems. one thing that made it run alot better was to bypass the fuses in the wiring harness. a rep from gasgas told me that they overthought it when doing alot of things and that was one of them. the fuse holders would relax their grip on the fuses when they got warm from current going through them after a while and it would start sputtering. after it cooled it would run great. so i got rid of the fuses and it is great now.

the air box and battery box would bottom out on hard landings so i had to modify that too.

even though gasgas intended this to be a race quad over here in america it was originally a street quad in europe so some things needed to be changed to work better for jumping and rough racing but overall i am happy with it . . . for now!!:D
