new fcr problem

well I got my used 39mm fcr from matt smiley about a week ago, I love the power but 1 problem. When I have the engine off and hit the throttle quick a few times, it looks like the accelerator pump is leaking out of the carb or something. Like the gas drips out of that area. would this be the gasket then? Anyone else had this problem before? thanks-darren

Don't have that problem, but where on the carb is it leaking gas from? The FCR's can squirt a lot of gas from the accel. pump, it's not a good idea to pump it with the bike not running.

well right now since I dont have the right pilot in(still working on ordering it) I have to punk it a few times to get it started up, it takes awhile. where is it coming out? Well last time I looked at it it seemed to me like, where the accel. pump covor is on the bottom of the bowl, it looked as if it was coming out of there. Thanks for replying, I really dont want to have my quad go up in flames... -darren
