well tomarrow is cody's race, so we did dead engine starts and a 25 minute practice. he didnt do bad. 25 minutes, 11 laps = 5 1/2 miles.
it gave me a chance to try out my new lens also

thats pretty cool. i wish i had a nice quad and practice track when i was that age. you wont regret it once he gets older! and 11 laps on that track must be rough but there is an mx track here, that 1 lap on it is 2 miles and we run 5 laps! talk about having too be in shape! dont ever let him stop practicing! you wont regret it!

the new lens is a 28mm to 200mm Nikon

the small size of the lens will allow me to get some better angles also

i got to test out the high speed shutter also. this is the 3rd shot in a sequence...seems to have handled it fine

overkill...thats all thats done to it for now. plans call for an axle, a arms...pipe and elka suspension

You are so lucky to have a cross country race for kids! I wish we did. :( All we have is MX and its 2 hours away... at least. Do good Cody! Make Pappy Proud!
