What's the deal with the 400EX's having problems staring when it's cold?? I have a 440 and 3 of my friends have stock ones and when it is cold all four of us have problems getting them started. They just keep cranking and won't start. It has to be a design problem because all 4 of them do the same thing. I have a fullly charged battery after I keep cranking it the battery eventually gets week then I put the charger on it after five minutes it will start and be fine the rest of the day. Does anyone else have these problems??

Try going up a size on the pilot jet for starters.

pump tha gas 2-3 times & put the choke on all the way then hit the starter button...that usually gets it for me
