I am curious to see as to how many of you got the pleasure.. or pain of shooting the new S&W model 500? For all of you out there that dont know.. The 500 is a .50 caliber pistol. I was at a gun show and I got to hold one.. Very nicely balanced for weighing in at 72 ounces :eek2:

Nope I havent, but I here its 'bout the same as my Ragin bull. I dont shoot it too much. Its mostly just for conversation. You know, pull it out and everyone says, "my what a big gun you have!"

I've shot a desert eagle .50 before, nothing special just real heavy. Didn't kick much more than a Glock .40
